Progesterone is a hormone that, although much higher in women, is found in men. Progesterone declines with age. It has been connected to sleep, testosterone production, and estrogen counterbalance.
There is some NIH evidence that concludes that progesterone kills PCa cells directly.
Although it purportedly kills PCa cells, if you kill off the cells with the appropriate progesterone receptor you are left with a growing population of cells without this receptor. Therefore cycling progesterone enhancement seems appropriate.
In order to do this I take a bio-identical progesterone cream that contains 5-10mg of progesterone per application. I use it for 2 weeks each month.
