Sous Vide

I use a sous vide with a water pitcher to make a supplement mixture. By heating the ingredients in combination with ethanol the absorption is increased.

Mix the following and sous vide for 10 hours at 170 deg F.

  1. 7 g black seed – grind seeds first (PCa fighter)
  2. 7 g pippali – grind first (PCa fighter)
  3. optional: 100 g garlic – crush cloves or grind first (PCa fighter)
  4. optional: 40 g ginger – grind first (PCa fighter)
  5. 2 g curcumin (PCa fighter)
  6. 30 g turmeric (synergistic with curcumin, PCa fighter)
  7. 1 g piperine (bioavailability, absorption, and solubility)
  8. 7 g black pepper (synergistic with piperine: bioavailability, absorption, and solubility)
  9. 1.5 oz lecithin (absorption)
  10. 30 g wormwood (synergistic with artemisinin, PCa fighter), sweet wormwood is better but I blend it with “non-sweet” wormwood since sweet wormwood is quite a bit more expensive.
  11. 4 g artemisinin (PCa fighter)
  12. >=750 ml a high % ethanol liquor (e.g. everclear)

Take a little bit every night or so with 6 oz of grapefruit juice (CYP17 enzyme blocker – therefore some of the ingredients will be elevated in the bloodstream). The mixture should last about 2 weeks. Be cautious when you start though. When I started I drank too much and did it in the morning. I had a low fever and mild nausea all day. I take this for 2 weeks and then take 2 weeks off (cancer adapts just as the human body does and it appears to be about a 2 week timeframe prior to adaptation).

The solubility in ethanol of each active ingredient was calculated and then the entire mixture was determined so that solubility should be correct. I calculated the amount of ethanol liquor required by using everclear (90% ethanol). If another liquor is used the amount of liquor needs to be adjusted appropriately (e.g. if vodka, which is 40% ethanol, is used then 1800 ml is required).

And the heat increases the solubility in the ethanol. I swagged 2x for the heat and time.

I’m also thinking of doing a sous vide with a pre-workout supplement mixture.

These are my pre-workout supplements:

  1. 1 g curcumin
  2. 5 g taurine
  3. 5 g beta alanine
  4. 500 mg curcumin
  5. 1 g turmeric
  6. 20 mg bioperine
  7. 1 g black pepper
  8. 200 mg EGCG
  9. 6 oz green tea
  10. 500 mg bitter orange
  11. 2 g ALCAR
  12. 1 g HMB
  13. 500 mg ashwaghanda
  14. 8 oz grapefruit juice.

For these workouts: Legs/Chest/Lats:

  1. 20 mg synephrine
  2. 60 mg salicylic acid
  3. 10 mg yohimbine
  4. 200 mg theanine
  5. 200 mg caffeine

  1. How is it possible. Only heating about 80°C over a long time without O2 making the hydrophobic molecules become watersolvent .. how that?
    Thx

  2. The theory is that they become soluble in ethanol, not water.

I believe that this is a common technique used by researchers to improve absorption. Is that not correct?
